We came back to North Texas to buy a car we can tow easily, see doctors, and catch up on a few other things. Buying the car was a pain in the butt -- after several all-day waits and very poor communication and service -- but we are finally there and we are happy with our little car. Except that it's very low to the ground and doesn't do well on muddy back roads. It floats in mud! Ask me how I know!

We got to see family and friends while in Texas. I got to go to Grape Fest, an annual girls event (Grumpy got to NOT go), and I even got to check out wedding venues and a few dresses with (and for) my daughter.
We had the opportunity to stay overnight at a local North Texas winery. Caudalie Crest in Celina -- and they have Nigerian dwarf goats! We had such a wonderful time, great wine and food, and very welcoming owners. Check out their winery!

We moved on to Oklahoma last week. Took a day trip to The Pioneer Woman's Mercantile for lunch and shopping. Wow! Great food and fun stuff to buy! Go! We also got to go to the Museum of Osteology/Skeleton Museum! That place was awesome!

Meanwhile, I'm losing track of where we are and what day it is! Except for Walmart -- that's pretty much daily.

We do have a job to go to next, and I'll tell you where later when we get settled in. It looks pretty cool and we're both excited about it!
